JOB SUMMARY
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation & Storytelling
- Conceptualise, plan, and produce high-quality digital content (short-form video, photography, graphics, copy) for platforms such as Meta, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn for paid and organic posts.
- Film, edit, and deliver engaging short-form videos optimised for each platform’s best practices and audience behaviour.
- Develop and maintain content pillars and creative narratives that express the school’s brand and student experience.
2. Channel & Calendar Management
- Build and manage content calendars that maintain consistent posting and storytelling flow across channels.
- Maintain brand tone and visual identity across all digital touchpoints.
3. Collaboration & Coverage
- Work closely with the school’s Media Coordinators to ensure ongoing coverage of school events, classroom experiences and community stories.
- Capture authentic school moments that highlight students’ daily life, achievements, and values.
4. Insights & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor platform trends, cultural moments and new formats to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Track and analyse content performance and advertising results; iterate and refine creative posts based on data-driven insights.
5. Event & Campaign Support
- Support planning, content development and live coverage for the school’s outreach events such as Open Days, Open Weeks and community engagements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Film Production, Multimedia Design, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in digital content creation, social media, or digital marketing. Experience in the education sector is an advantage.
- Strong portfolio showcasing video, photography, and social media content.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.
- Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent understanding of current social media platforms, trends, and audience engagement.
- Strong copywriting and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
- Creative, proactive, organised, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with different stakeholders.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
