Job Summary

The Production Manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, maintenance, quality control, and supply chain operations within the factory. The PM ensures efficient, cost-effective, and safe production while meeting business objectives, regulatory compliance, and customer requirements. This role involves strategic planning, process optimization, team leadership, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and processes.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with different departments to streamline production.
• Manage production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Implement cost-effective production strategies.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment.
• Develop and enforce production policies and procedures.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the production.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and health regulations.
• Prepare and manage the production budget.
• Provide leadership and direction to improve overall production performance.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.

• Experience: 5+ years in operations, with 5+ years in a leadership role (manufacturing/food industry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of production processes, and automation.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
• Excellent team management and conflict resolution abilities.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
