Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer with 2 to 4 years of relevant working experience. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD, experienced in preparing mechanical drawings, and capable of generating Bills of Materials (BOM). Experience in industrial equipment, fabrication, and mechanical systems will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and revise 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop fabrication, assembly, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for projects.
• Interpret customer specifications, drawings, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Ensure drawings comply with project requirements and company standards.
• Assist in material selection and cost estimation.
• Update and maintain engineering documentation and drawing records.
• Support project execution and provide technical assistance when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in mechanical design and drafting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Able to prepare BOM and fabrication drawings independently.
• Knowledge of fabrication, welding, and manufacturing processes.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
