Job Description

We are looking for motivated and hands-on Internship Trainees to join our Solar O&M team. The trainee will work closely with our engineers and O&M team to support the daily operation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems at our solar farms.

This is a field-based role, providing practical exposure to the operation and maintenance of utility-scale solar PV systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist engineers in the daily operation and maintenance of solar PV systems.
• Support routine inspection of solar panels, inverters, cables and other solar equipment.
• Assist in monitoring solar farm performance and energy generation.

· Support engineers in identifying and troubleshooting basic system faults.

• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Prepare and update site inspection reports, checklists and maintenance records.
• Support contractors and technicians during site maintenance and repair works.

· Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with site safety requirements and procedures.

• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree student in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Renewable Energy or related fields.
• Interested in solar energy and renewable energy.
• Willing to work mainly at solar farm sites (around 90% site-based).
• Willing to travel to different project sites.
• Hands-on, responsible and willing to learn.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel.
• Possess a valid driving licence is an advantage

Pay: RM1,000.00 per month
