MEP Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily MEP installation activities at site and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers, subcontractors, consultants, QA/QC, safety teams, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and site progress.
• Ensure MEP works comply with approved method statements, ITPs, specifications, and project schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify installation issues, clashes, defects, and quality concerns.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspection, testing, commissioning, and rectification works.
• Review and interpret MEP shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and technical documents.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed within the required schedule.
• Ensure compliance with site safety requirements, permit-to-work procedures, and safe working practices.
• Prepare daily site reports and provide updates on work progress, issues, and manpower.
• Support testing & commissioning and project handover activities.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of site supervision experience in MEP construction.
• Experience in data centre, industrial, commercial, high-rise, or large-scale MEP projects is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of MEP systems including electrical, ACMV/HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, ELV, and BMS.
• Able to read and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors and multiple project disciplines.
• Good understanding of construction methods, installation practices, inspection, testing, and commissioning.
• Strong leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage site activities under tight project schedules.
• Relevant CIDB certification and safety qualifications will be an added advantage.

Working Hour

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5pm

Saturday 8.00am to 12noon (Alternate)

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
