The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities on site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage on-site construction works and workers
- Ensure all works are carried out according to drawings, specifications, and schedule
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
- Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly reports
- Check and verify materials delivered to site
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site procedures
- Assist in planning and scheduling of works
- Prepare and submit site documentation (RFI, reports, method statements, etc.)
- Liaise with authorities and consultants when required
