Supervise Site Work: You will be overseeing all activities and operations happening on the construction site, ensuring that everything is proceeding according to the plan
Monitor Workmanship, Quality, and Safety: Ensuring that the work is done to the required standards, checking the quality of work, and making sure safety protocols are followed, as outlined in the contract documents.
Perform Joint Measurements with the Contractor: You’ll collaborate with the contractor to take measurements and ensure everything aligns with the project specifications.
Inform Resident Engineer (ARE) About Work Issues: If there are issues with the contractor’s work or if something isn’t up to standard, you will notify Resident Engineer, who may direct the next course of action.
Carry Out Other Duties as Assigned by RE: You might also be asked to handle additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by the Resident Engineer.
Job Requirement
Diploma in Civil Engineering
Must have Certificate of Registration as an Inspector of Works (IOW) issued by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)– Civil Engineering
Minimum 5 years site supervision experience
Experience in infra, earthwork, and flood mitigation/water-related projects will be an added advantage.
