Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

Operation

• To assist the Bulking Manager/Executive on daily operational activities for Port Klang Installation (PKI).
• To monitor electrical machines such as pump motor during receive and dispatch palm oil products,
• To perform daily, weekly, monthly and yearly preventive maintenance programme related to electrical equipment and machinery at PKI and SIMIT.
• To assist, coordinate and liaise with visiting electrical engineer during monthly visit and update and present current issues/ findings to management.
• To issue Permit To Work and closely monitor external vendors during performing maintenance or repair of any related electrical works at PKI and SIMIT.
• To coordinate with the operation team on any related equipment that uses electrical power supply at PKI and SIMIT.
• To supervise any electrical requirement for storage tank cleaning and machinery maintenance
• To supervise overall contract workers’ daily job activities.
• To minimize the downtime issues related to machines.

Documentation

• To check, verify and compile and keep proper files for all maintenance programme for machines at PKI & SIMIT.
• Assist in monitoring cargo movement planning at PKI and SIMIT.
• To coordinate  the team and submit necessary monitoring report once dispatch complete.
• To ensure all operators comply with safety related to electrical and operating based on the instruction.
• To prepare monthly reporting to management.
• To response with the breakdown report from operation team. 

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum SPM qualification
• Chargeman AO certification
• Technical knowledge and experience in electrical machinery maintenance.
• Technical knowledge in palm oil storage.
• Good knowledge of preventive maintenance programme.
• Basic knowledge of first aid programme.
