REQUIREMENT

·        Minimum 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience, including 2 years in a leadership role.

·        Strong negotiation skills and understanding of supply chain dynamics.

·        Familiar with ISO 9001 supplier evaluation and purchasing controls.

·        Proficient in ERP or purchasing systems and cost analysis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Oversee the full procurement cycle from supplier selection to delivery coordination.

·        Lead the Supplier Evaluation process and maintain an Approved Vendor List.

·        Ensure all purchases meet quality, lead time, and cost requirements.

·        Develop purchasing strategies and cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

·        Manage relationships and communications with suppliers to ensure reliability.

·        Collaborate with Planning and Production to forecast and fulfil material needs.

·        Review and approve purchase orders and procurement contracts.

·        Monitor procurement KPIs including on-time delivery, cost variance, and supplier performance.

·        Ensure procurement activities comply with internal controls and ISO standards.

·        Maintain purchasing records and support audits and customer evaluations when necessary.
