Role Description The HVAC Assistant Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Puchong. This position supports senior project engineers in planning, coordinating, and executing HVAC projects, including design review, documentation, and technical calculations. Daily tasks include assisting with HVAC system layout, preparing documentations & AutoCAD drawings, reviewing specifications, and supporting site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. The role involves coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines and budgets. The HVAC Assistant Project Engineer also helps diagnose basic system issues, supports maintenance planning, and prepares project reports and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Basic foundation in HVAC Engineering and HVAC Design for system planning, load calculations, and performance optimization.
• Practical knowledge of HVAC systems and components, with exposure to installation, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD tools for preparing and updating HVAC drawings and technical layouts are a bonus.
• Experience or strong interest in Maintenance & Repair of HVAC equipment, including routine checks and corrective actions.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities for coordination with project teams and site personnel.
• Willingness to work on-site and attend to project and maintenance activities at client locations.
