Role Description The Test Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bandar Baru Bangi. The Test Manager will lead end-to-end testing activities, including planning, coordinating, and overseeing test execution across multiple projects. This role involves defining and maintaining test strategies, designing and reviewing test cases, monitoring test progress, and ensuring that testing outcomes meet quality, risk, and compliance objectives. The Test Manager will collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to align testing efforts with business requirements, manage defect resolution, and provide clear reporting on test status and issues. The role also includes mentoring test team members, continuously improving testing processes, and contributing to best practices in quality assurance.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Testing and Test Execution, with a strong focus on quality assurance in complex software projects.
• Proficiency in Test Management and Test Strategy, including planning, prioritizing, and coordinating test activities across multiple workstreams.
• Ability to design, review, and optimize Test Cases that are traceable to business and technical requirements.
• Experience leading test teams, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, and managing defects and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and structured testing methodologies (e.g., ISTQB or equivalent frameworks).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Clear and effective communication skills, including the ability to explain testing outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in banking, insurance, retail, telecommunication, or hospitality domains is an advantage.
