Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Java Software Developer role based in Puchong. The Java Software Developer will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and related frameworks, following best practices and coding standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, fixing defects, writing unit and integration tests, and participating in code reviews. The role involves working with microservices architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to system performance optimization and scalability. The developer will also help refine technical requirements, support deployments, and provide ongoing maintenance for existing applications.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Software Development practices and Programming concepts
• Hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Framework for backend applications
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture and related design patterns
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, relational databases, and basic SQL
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
