About the Job

- Contract: 12 Months Contract

Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting across AWS services, including EC2, Auto Scaling, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, S3, EBS, EFS, VPC, Route 53, Elastic Load Balancer (ELB), CloudFront, RDS, DynamoDB, and Aurora.
- Investigate and resolve performance issues, service outages, and configuration-related incidents.
- Analyze logs, metrics, and error messages to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Respond to customer-reported incidents based on priority and severity levels.
- Deliver real-time support during production outages and critical service disruptions.
- Escalate complex technical issues to relevant teams when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding issue status, impact assessments, and recommended workarounds.
- Advise customers on high availability, fault tolerance, scalability, performance optimization, security best practices, and cost optimization strategies.
- Support workload alignment with cloud architecture best practices and industry standards.
- Utilize monitoring and advisory tools to identify performance, security, and cost-related risks.
- Recommend proactive improvements to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability.
- Develop, review, and troubleshoot automation scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Support automation initiatives for deployments and operational workflows using cloud-native and third-party tools.
- Troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and incident reports.
- Document root cause analyses for major incidents and share best practices with internal teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to improve support quality and customer outcomes.
Job Requirements
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of AWS core services and cloud infrastructure.
- 4-6 years of experience in Cloud Support, AWS Infrastructure, System Administration, or DevOps environments
- Experience with Linux and Windows system administration.
- Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Experience in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of cloud security principles, identity and access management (IAM), and encryption concepts.
- Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting tools within cloud environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and deployment automation practices.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong customer service mindset with a professional and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, particularly during critical incidents and service outages.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
