We are looking for a hands-on HR Systems professional to support Workday initiatives and day-to-day HRIS activities during a 6-month contract assignment. The ideal candidate should possess strong Workday experience, particularly in system testing, enhancements, data management, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

HR Systems & Digital Transformation

• Support Workday enhancements, implementations, integrations, and system improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate and execute user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, defect tracking, and validation activities.
• Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, and documentation to ensure successful deployment of system changes.
• Support data migration, data cleansing, data validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR processes, operational efficiency, and employee experience.
• Ensure HR data integrity, system governance, compliance, and adherence to internal controls.

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Support project planning, timeline management, risk monitoring, and delivery of HR technology initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR, business stakeholders, vendors, and regional teams to gather requirements and coordinate system enhancements.
• Communicate project updates, testing outcomes, and implementation readiness to stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations on system optimization and best practices.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting Workday or other HRIS platforms.
• Strong experience in one or more Workday modules: HCM, , Compensation & Benefits, Absence / Leave Management, Learning, Recruiting, Reporting & Analytics
• Proven experience in system testing, UAT, defect management, and production deployment.
• Experience supporting HR system implementation, enhancement, or transformation projects.
• Exposure to data migration, data validation, data loads, and reconciliation activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience supporting multiple legal entities or complex HR environments is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Malaysian HR practices and regulations will be highly advantageous.
