About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Production Planning Executive to manage production scheduling, material requirements, and inventory control. You will play a critical role in aligning manufacturing operations with customer demand to ensure seamless, on-time delivery while maintaining optimal efficiency on the stamping and sub-assembly floors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain master production schedules (MPS) based on customer demand, sales forecasts, and plant capacity constraints.
- Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure raw materials and components are available for production without overstocking.
- Monitor Work-In-Progress (WIP) and finished goods inventory levels to minimize bottlenecks and optimize shop-floor flow.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Quality Assurance (QA), Tooling, and Logistics teams to resolve scheduling conflicts or machine downtime issues.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including On-Time Delivery (OTD), schedule attainment, and inventory turnover.
- Ensure all operational and documentation processes align with IATF 16949 quality management standards and statutory compliance requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in production planning or inventory control within a manufacturing environment—direct experience in automotive stamping or metal fabrication is a strong advantage.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems, production scheduling software, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
