• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand, forecasts, production capacity, and business requirements.
• Develop and maintain production schedules according to production priorities, material availability, machine capacity, and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with Production teams to ensure production activities are carried out according to the approved schedule.
• Monitor daily production progress and compare actual output against planned production.
• Identify production delays, bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and schedule deviations and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Material Planning and Warehouse teams to ensure sufficient materials are available before production starts.
• Monitor WIP (Work-in-Progress) and ensure smooth material flow between production processes.
• Coordinate production schedules across different processes to minimize bottlenecks and production waiting time.
• Monitor machine and manpower capacity and adjust production schedules according to available resources.
• Reschedule production activities when there are material shortages, machine breakdowns, quality issues, manpower shortages, or changes in customer requirements.
• Prioritize urgent production orders and coordinate with relevant departments to meet critical delivery requirements.
• Monitor production achievement, schedule adherence, production efficiency, downtime, WIP, and capacity utilization.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production planning reports and performance analysis.
• Maintain and update production planning data in the ERP/MRP system.
• Coordinate closely with Material Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Logistics departments.
• Communicate production plans, priorities, schedule changes, and urgent requirements to relevant departments.
• Coordinate with China/HQ teams and Mandarin-speaking colleagues regarding production plans, production progress, capacity, material availability, and operational issues.
• Translate and communicate production planning information between Mandarin-speaking teams and local teams when required.
• Support NPI, trial production, mass production ramp-up, and new production line planning activities.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Production teams regarding process changes, new products, and production capacity requirements.
• Work with Maintenance to revise production schedules when equipment breakdowns or preventive maintenance affect production capacity.
• Analyse production data and identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, production efficiency, capacity utilization, and schedule adherence.
• Support continuous improvement activities related to production planning and control.
• Ensure production plans are aligned with customer delivery requirements and company objectives.
• Maintain accurate production planning records and documentation.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Planning Manager or Management.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
