We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires reliability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Key Responsibilities:

Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries to ensure timely and accurate financial recording.

Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to guarantee accuracy and completeness of records.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting by providing financial analysis and insights to management.

Support year-end audits by providing required documentation and assistance to auditors.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax return preparation and filings.

Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.

Assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or senior management.

• Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Membership with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) is mandatory.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure.

Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Mature, meticulous, and reliable in work approach.

Ability to start on short notice.

Mandarin fluency preferred for communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and staff.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
