Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior designers in all phases of the design process, from concept development to project execution.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to gather and understand design requirements and preferences.
- Create mood boards, sketches, and detailed renderings to visualize design concepts.
- Draft accurate and detailed floor plans, elevations, and other technical drawings using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).
- Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials that align with the project’s objectives and client expectations.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure materials and designs meet quality and budget requirements.
- Assist with on-site measurements and assessments to ensure the feasibility and alignment of designs with spatial requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and advancements to continuously improve design approaches.
- Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by Management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Creative and innovative with a strong passion for design.
- Knowledge of modular systems and carpentry drawings is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and diligently.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new challenges and complete tasks within deadlines.
- Interest in pursuing a long-term career in interior design.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
