About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Internship - Shipping & Logistics candidate to join our team in Selangor on a full-time basis. This internship presents an outstanding opportunity to gain practical experience in the dynamic field of shipping and logistics whilst working within a professional environment. You will be exposed to real-world operations in import/export and customs processes, providing you with invaluable insights into the logistics industry. This role is ideal for individuals keen to develop their career in supply chain management and international trade.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with the coordination and processing of shipping documents and customs declarations
• Assist to support the tracking and monitoring of shipments throughout the supply chain
• Assist to liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers and shipping agencies to ensure smooth operations
• Helping to organise and maintain shipping and logistics records and databases
• Providing administrative support to the logistics and shipping team
• Assisting with the preparation of invoices, bills of lading and other shipping documentation
• Supporting the team with general office duties and project work as assigned

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English
• Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Keen to learn about shipping, logistics and customs operations
• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining professional standards
