About the Role:

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to support our Finance & Procurement Department. This role support daily procurement activities and ensure materials, goods and services are purchased at the right quality, quantity, price and delivery time to meet production and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily purchasing activities, including sourcing, quotation comparison, Purchase Order issuance and supplier follow-up.
• Monitor material requirements, stock availability and delivery schedules to support production needs.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, and negotiate pricing, lead time, payment terms and other commercial terms.
• Coordinate with Planning, Production, Warehouse, Quality and other departments on purchasing and material requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure materials are delivered on time.
• Maintain proper purchasing records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Prepare procurement reports, including open PO, purchasing status, supplier performance and material status.
• Support cost-saving activities and continuous improvement within the procurement function.
• Perform other procurement-related duties assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in raw material purchasing or material planning will be an advantage.
• Good negotiation, communication and supplier management skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience using ERP systems; Pronto Xi experience is an advantage.
• Able to work independently, follow up closely and coordinate with different departments.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or an IATF environment will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
