Are you an experienced finance professional with strong leadership, strategic planning, and financial management skills?

Our client is looking for a Financial Controller to oversee the company’s financial operations, reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role will play a critical part in supporting business growth, improving financial performance, and strengthening financial governance across multiple entities and business units.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or CA qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or export-oriented businesses is highly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and compliance.
• Experience handling multi-entity or regional finance operations is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong business and commercial acumen.
• High level of integrity and accountability.
• Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
• Proactive and solution-driven.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Reporting

• Oversee the full spectrum of finance functions, including GL, AP, AR, and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Consolidate financial reports across multiple entities and business units.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance.

Budgeting & Strategic Planning

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making.
• Partner with senior management to align financial strategies with company growth plans.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and risk management practices.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory bodies.

Cost Control & Business Performance

• Monitor cost structures, margins, and profitability across operations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Support pricing strategies and financial modelling for new business initiatives.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement

• Lead and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and accountability.
• Drive digitalisation and process improvements in finance operations.
• Enhance reporting systems and financial workflows.
