Key Responsibilities
Purchasing
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and quality products.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO).
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and lead times.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Resolve purchasing-related issues and ensure timely procurement.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure sufficient stock availability.
- Plan stock replenishment based on sales trends and business requirements.
- Perform stock reconciliation and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the company's system.
- Generate inventory reports and recommend improvements to stock control.
Container & Shipment Coordination
- Coordinate incoming container shipments with suppliers, container forwarders, and warehouse personnel.
- Plan unloading schedules and ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays.
- Ensure accurate receiving documentation and inventory updates after unloading.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing, inventory, and supply chain processes.
- Work closely with the Operation, Warehouse, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of SOPs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Purchasing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in Purchasing, Inventory, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Good understanding of inventory control and stock planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Inventory Management Systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English is preferred to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Able to work for 5.5 days / week

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
Work Location: In person
