JUNIOR GIS EXECUTIVE

Job Requirements

• Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Geoinformatics, GIS, Surveying or related field.
• Proficient in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD Map or MapInfo.
• Knowledgeable in spatial data management, spatial analysis and cartographic principles.
• Computer-literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess strong analytical, problem solving and reporting skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and manage geospatial data from various sources.
• Develop, maintain and update GIS databases and digital maps.
• Produce high-quality maps, reports and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Support system integration of GIS with other enterprise applications.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and compliance with established standards.
• Conduct field surveys and verify spatial data when required.
• Provide GIS technical support, training and troubleshooting to users.
• Collaborate with other departments and external agencies on GIS-related projects.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
