Job Description:
Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse and production areas, ensuring smooth workflow and accurate inventory management.

- Operate sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts to load, unload, and move products and materials within the warehouse, production lines, and loading docks.
- Stack and organize materials according to designated storage plans, ensuring optimal space utilization and easy accessibility.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any defects or malfunctions to supervisors.
- Accurately scan and track inventory movements using handheld scanners or other inventory management systems.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers, verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in periodic inventory counts and contribute to maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Support production operations by ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and removal of finished goods.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Job Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification/license.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
- Proficient in operating various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Physically fit and able to perform duties requiring standing, bending, and reaching.
