Junior QA/QC – Food Manufacturing
Salary: RM2,200 – RM2,500 per month
Location: Seri Kembangan, Selangor

We are looking for a Junior QA/QC to join our food manufacturing team. This role is suitable for candidates who are interested in developing their career in Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Food Safety.
The successful candidate will assist in ensuring that raw materials, production processes and finished products meet the company’s quality, food safety, Halal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting daily QA/QC inspections on raw materials, production processes and finished products.
- Monitor product quality and ensure production activities are carried out according to established SOPs and quality standards.
- Assist in monitoring hygiene, sanitation, GMP and food safety practices within the production area.
- Conduct routine quality checks and accurately record inspection results.
- Assist with product sampling, testing and documentation.
- Maintain QA/QC records, checklists, reports and other relevant documentation.
- Assist in identifying quality issues, non-conformities and production deviations and report them to the QA/QC Executive.
- Assist with corrective and preventive actions when quality issues arise.
- Support internal and external audits, including Halal, GMP and food safety audits.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation required for Halal certification and renewal processes.
- Work closely with the Production team to ensure compliance with quality and food safety requirements.
- Perform other QA/QC duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Quality Management or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- 0–1 year of QA/QC experience, preferably in the food manufacturing industry, is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety and Halal requirements.
- Candidates with direct experience in the Halal certification process, including Halal documentation, application/renewal or supporting Halal audits, will have an advantage.
- Good understanding of QA/QC documentation and SOP compliance.
- Detail-oriented, organised and willing to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willing to work in a food manufacturing environment.
- Willing to work in Seri Kembangan.
