Job Description

RedRadar International is hiring on behalf of our client for a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist.

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to children with developmental and functional challenges, supporting their progress in daily living skills, motor development, sensory processing, and overall independence. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and consultants to provide effective intervention plans and ensure positive therapeutic outcomes.

The ideal candidate possesses strong clinical reasoning skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential through evidence-based therapy approaches.

Key Responsibilities

1) Strong clinical reasoning & problem-solving skills.
2) Conduct occupational therapy sessions as per assigned roster.
3) Deliver professional, efficient and high-quality patient care.
4) Monitor patient progress and provide appropriate counselling and follow-up instructions.
5) Document patient progress notes accurately and in a timely manner.
6) Prepare and submit reports on patient progress to consultants in-charge.
7) Ensure all treatments provided are properly documented and charged.
8) Maintain strong working relationships with medical teams, staff and patients.
9) Participate in staff training programmes and continuous learning.
10) Keep up-to-date with current practices, techniques and developments in occupational therapy.
11) Maintain patient statistics and records and ensure timely submission.
12) Assist in promoting available rehabilitation services.
13) Participate in department quality initiatives.
14) Carry out additional duties as assigned by the department.

Requirements

1) Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field recognized by relevant professional bodies.
2) Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and problem-solving skills.
3) Experience working with children, autism, developmental delays, or special needs populations is an added advantage.
4) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5) Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
