Job description:
Responsibilities:
- Design initial layouts for control panels, ensuring optimal placement of components such as switches, relays, fuses, circuit breakers, and terminals with a focus on accessibility and safety.
- Develop professional wiring diagrams using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
- Select and configure appropriate electrical components based on project specifications.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and electrical codes.
- Clearly label all components and wiring for easy identification during troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Include necessary technical details such as voltage levels, current ratings, wire types, and engineering notes in wiring diagrams.
- Review wiring diagrams thoroughly to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with standards.
- Supervise the physical assembly of control panels based on approved design drawings.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to verify system performance and compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of control panel design and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills for coordination with contractors and engineers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
