Internship Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum internship duration of 3-4 months.
• Basic knowledge of computer networking (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Routing & Switching).
• Familiarity with networking devices such as routers, switches, and wireless access points is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of network troubleshooting and hardware installation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of network monitoring tools and cybersecurity concepts is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices, including routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls.
• Support the Network Engineer in troubleshooting network connectivity and performance issues.
• Monitor network performance and report any abnormalities or outages.
• Assist in LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN deployment and maintenance.
• Perform basic network cabling, hardware installation, and equipment replacement.
• Help maintain network documentation, asset inventory, and technical reports.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and system health checks.
• Support IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades and implementations.
• Provide basic technical support to internal users on networking-related issues.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
