Job Title: HARDWARE & SOFTWARE SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Hardware & Software Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and IT-related equipment to ensure smooth operations for both customers and internal staff.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair desktop computers, laptops, and related hardware
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and software
- Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and technical checks
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers and internal team members
- Set up and support networks, printers, POS systems, and other IT devices
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, service reports, and technical documentation
- Identify technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner
- Learn and adapt to new tools, systems, and technologies used by the company
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience as an IT or Computer Technician (hardware & software)
- Strong knowledge of computer components, operating systems, and basic networking
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Fast learner with willingness to learn the company’s POS and system tools
- Responsible, hardworking, and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
