Internship Summary

The Technical Intern will assist the technical team in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of commercial laundry equipment across laundromat outlets. This internship provides hands-on exposure to real-world technical operations, preventive maintenance, and customer support in a franchised laundromat environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support & Maintenance

• Assist technicians in servicing commercial washers, dryers, and related equipment
• Support preventive maintenance activities (cleaning, inspection, basic adjustments)
• Help troubleshoot basic mechanical or electrical issues under supervision
• Assist in replacing parts such as belts, hoses, valves, and filters
• Perform testing of machines after servicing or repairs

Site & Operations Support

• Assist in new outlet setup, machine installation, and commissioning
• Participate in outlet inspections and basic safety checks
• Help ensure machines are clean, operational, and properly maintained
• Support technicians during on-site service calls to franchised outlets

Learning & Documentation

• Learn machine operation, maintenance procedures, and company SOPs
• Assist in preparing service reports, job sheets, and maintenance records
• Update service logs and equipment history
• Observe and learn proper handling of tools and spare parts

General Duties

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and work areas
• Follow safety guidelines and instructions from supervisors
• Perform ad-hoc technical or operational tasks as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems
• Willingness to learn hands-on technical skills
• Able to work in the field and travel to outlets when required

Internship Duration

Allowance & Benefits

• Internship allowance : RM800-RM1,200.00 per month
• On-the-job training and mentorship

• Internship certificate / evaluation report (if required by institution)

Only Candidates that will graduate immediately after the internship will be considered for this Internship Program.
