Job brief

We are looking for a qualified Computer Technician to install, maintain and repair computers, networks and printers.

As a computer technician you must be well-versed in computer systems and network functions. The ideal candidate will be able to work diligently and accurately and will possess a great problem-solving ability in order to fix issues and ensure functionality.

The goal is to install and maintain high quality networks and computer systems.

Job Descriptions:

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.

• Set Up hardware, install and configure software and drivers.

• Maintaining and repairing equipment such as laptop, pc and printers.

• Manage security options and software in computers and networks to maintain privacy protection from attacks.

• Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated.

• Troubleshoot system failure or bugs and provide solutions for restore functionality.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and networking problems.

• Provide client support and technical issue resolution.

• Configure software to connect to Internet application servers.

• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Preferably Junior Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Hardware or equivalent.

• Proven experience as computer technician or similar role.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Very good communication abilities.

• Good knowledge of computer systems, IT components and printers.

• Able to work with other team members.

• Able to speak in a friendly way to customers.
