Our client is an established Malaysian engineering and manufacturing company specializing in industrial fasteners, cable support systems, corrosion protection solutions, and bolting equipment. Serving key industries including oil & gas, petrochemical, marine, and energy, the company is committed to delivering high-quality products and reliable engineering solutions. They are now looking for a dedicated Accountant to manage full-set accounts and support their financial operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounts, including daily transactions, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Manage monthly and yearly financial closing and prepare financial reports.
• Review financial transactions, expenses, payroll records, and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), tax regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare and maintain accounting documents for internal and external audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience, with full-set accounts experience.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), tax regulations, and financial controls.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
