JOB DESCRIPTION: SERVICE CREW

Position: Service Crew

1. Job Summary

As a Service Crew member at Chez Choux, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well-organised outlet environment. You will assist with daily outlet operations, including taking customer orders, preparing and serving food and beverages, handling payments, and ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly, polite, and professional manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and provide information about menu items and promotions.
• Prepare, assemble, and serve food and beverages according to company standards and procedures.
• Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system and handle cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, counter, dining area, and other designated work areas.
• Ensure food safety, personal hygiene, and sanitation standards are consistently followed.
• Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation before serving customers.
• Assist with stock replenishment, inventory checks, and proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
• Follow company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and instructions from supervisors or management.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily outlet operations.
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally and refer complex matters to the supervisor or management.
• Perform other reasonable duties related to outlet operations as assigned by the supervisor or management.

3. Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred.
• Friendly, responsible, and customer-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to the work schedule.
• Willingness to learn and follow company standards, procedures, and instructions.
• Previous experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or retail is an advantage but not compulsory.

4. Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move around for extended periods during working hours.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced food and beverage retail environment.
• Willingness to perform routine cleaning, food preparation, and other operational duties.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness, personal hygiene, and professional conduct throughout the working shift.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,259.82 per month
