Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PHP Developer role based in Petaling Jaya with a 6‑month engagement. The PHP Developer will design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable solutions. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, efficient code, integrating front-end elements with back-end logic, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and optimizing application performance. The role involves collaborating with other developers and stakeholders to understand requirements, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation and best practices. The developer will also support deployment activities and provide maintenance for existing systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications

• Strong Back-End Web Development and PHP programming skills, including experience building and maintaining server-side applications.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns for scalable, maintainable code.
• Basic to intermediate Front-End Development skills (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to integrate user interfaces with back-end services.
• Experience in Software Development practices, including version control (e.g., Git), testing, and debugging in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Petaling Jaya and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL), RESTful APIs, and common PHP frameworks is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines within a 6-month project timeline.
