WE ARE HIRING: SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT

Do you love creating content, making videos, hosting livestreams, and selling online? Join our team!

We are looking for a creative, hands-on, and resourceful Social Media Assistant to help grow our online presence, create engaging digital content, produce podcasts, conduct livestreams, and support online sales activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Publishing – Create and publish engaging content across social media platforms to promote the company’s products, services, and brand.
• Social Media Account Management – Manage social media accounts, schedule posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and enquiries.
• Video, Photography & Podcast Production – Shoot and edit videos, reels, and photographs; assist in recording and producing podcasts, including preparing content and managing basic recording equipment.
• Livestreaming & Online Selling – Assist in planning and conducting livestreams, showcasing products, engaging viewers, answering questions, and supporting online sales through social media and ecommerce platforms.
• Marketing Campaign Support – Assist in executing social media campaigns, promotions, product launches, and online marketing activities.
• Graphic Design & Visual Content – Create social media graphics, posters, banners, and promotional materials using design software and AI tools where appropriate.
• Content Research & Performance Monitoring – Research trends, competitors, and content ideas; track reach, engagement, follower growth, and campaign performance to improve results.
• Brand Management & Digital Asset Organisation – Maintain consistent brand messaging and visual identity while organising photos, videos, podcast recordings, livestream content, and other digital assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic experience or a strong interest in social media marketing, content creation, and digital media.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Able to shoot and edit short videos using tools such as CapCut, Canva, or equivalent software.
• Good written communication skills, including writing captions, promotional copy, and engaging content.
• Comfortable appearing on camera, assisting with podcast recordings, or supporting livestream sessions.
• Interest in online selling, product demonstrations, and engaging potential customers.
• Creative, organised, resourceful, and willing to learn new tools and technologies, including AI content creation tools.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate with the team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Digital Marketing, Mass Communications, Media Production, Marketing, or a related field.
• Previous experience managing social media accounts or producing digital content.
• Experience with livestreaming tools, podcast equipment, ecommerce platforms, or online marketplaces.
• A portfolio of social media posts, videos, or other creative work is an advantage.
