Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Petaling Jaya. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), assisting in tender preparation, and evaluating contractors’ quotations. The role includes monitoring project costs, preparing cost plans and budgets, and ensuring that expenditures remain within approved limits. Day-to-day tasks involve cost reporting, valuation of work done, verification of progress claims, and supporting contract administration and variation orders. The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with the project and engineering teams to ensure accurate cost control and contribute to effective project delivery.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in BOQ preparation and measurement for engineering and MEP-related works.
• Candidates should possess skills in cost planning and cost management, including budgeting and cost estimation.
• Candidates should possess skills in cost control and cost reporting to monitor project financial performance.
• Relevant experience in quantity surveying for construction, engineering, or M&E projects is beneficial.
• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with standard contracts, tender procedures, and related software (e.g., MS Office, QS/estimating tools) is an advantage.
