HUAT KOPITIAM | USJ 17, Subang Jaya

HUAT KOPITIAM is a brand-new kopitiam opening in USJ 17, Subang Jaya, and we are looking for a passionate and responsible Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our opening kitchen team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new establishment from the beginning and grow together with the business.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to established recipes, standards and portion sizes.
• Take responsibility for your assigned kitchen section.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared with consistent quality, taste and presentation.
• Assist with food preparation, mise en place and daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
• Monitor food stock, ingredients and minimise wastage.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and ingredients.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient workstation.
• Assist with other kitchen duties when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie (CDP), Demi Chef, Line Cook or similar kitchen position is preferred.
• Experience in a kopitiam, restaurant or local Malaysian cuisine environment is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Responsible, punctual and disciplined.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.
