Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in inventory planning, materials planning or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of planning experience within a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of inventory control, purchasing, materials management and demand planning processes.

• Experience working with ERP systems, inventory databases and material master data.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data and identify material or inventory risks.

• Good understanding of forecasting, replenishment, Min/Max, ROP, BOM and inventory management methodologies.

• Strong customer service and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language.

• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking ownership of individual responsibilities.

• Commercial awareness with an understanding of cost management and cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse replenishment data and forecast demand to determine inventory requirements.

• Monitor and manage inventory levels by balancing forecast demand against on-hand, on-order and in-transit quantities.

• Initiate, review and process purchase demands and purchase requisitions.

• Monitor Min/Max levels, Reorder Points (ROP), backorders and new part additions.

• Act as the primary contact for customers/requestors regarding forecasts, inventory requirements, new parts and material availability.

• Work closely with Tool Owners, engineers, buyers, site leads and suppliers to review forecasts, material requirements and changes.

• Identify and communicate potential material shortages that may impact production or cause machine downtime.

• Coordinate and perform physical inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Maintain accurate and timely ERP system data, including material master records and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

• Manage material and quality-related issues, providing analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Identify and develop material cost-saving initiatives and opportunities to improve inventory efficiency.

• Facilitate incoming quotation and Ariba requests and create relevant events in the Priority system.

• Prepare and send daily customer quotations.

• Handle order processing and ensure timely updates in relevant systems.

• Perform SIRFIS updates and exception management.

• Manage incoming customer requests and maintain an accurate event/request tracker.

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding requests to ensure timely resolution.

• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor or management.
