Company Description RISE Intervention Programme Sdn Bhd is a dedicated early intervention center supporting children on the Autism Spectrum through holistic developmental programmes. The center focuses on preparing children for admission into mainstream learning institutions by offering individualized education plans that bridge competency gaps and build confidence. Learning is guided by an understanding of each child’s interaction with their environment, with an emphasis on sustainable progress and realization of their full potential. Programmes range from play-based learning for toddlers using toys, activities, books, worksheets, and flashcards, to structured early intervention with varied teaching techniques and materials. Role Description The Principal at RISE Intervention Programme Sdn Bhd is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Petaling Jaya. This position oversees the center’s educational programmes, ensuring that early intervention and playgroup curricula are aligned with best practices and support children’s progression toward mainstream education. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and mentoring teaching and therapy staff, monitoring individualized education plans, and ensuring that teaching methods support communication, gross motor development, and social-emotional growth. The Principal will collaborate with families and caregivers, conduct regular progress reviews, and maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. The role also includes operational oversight such as scheduling, resource allocation, compliance with relevant guidelines, and ongoing improvement of center policies and practices.
Qualifications

  • Background in education, special education, early childhood education, psychology, or a related field, with experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including mentoring multidisciplinary teams and fostering collaborative, inclusive work cultures.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating individualized education plans and structured early intervention programmes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with children, families, caregivers, and staff in a supportive and respectful manner.
  • Ability to manage center operations, including planning, organizing resources, maintaining documentation, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Commitment to inclusive education, child safeguarding, professional integrity, and continuous learning in evidence-based practices.
  • Relevant professional certifications or licenses and prior leadership experience in an educational or therapeutic setting are advantageous.
