Key responsibilities
Business performance
- Own Playground revenue and targets, and report performance monthly.
- Design creative uses of the event space and run events that bring in new customers.
- Order toys and merchandise for sale at the Playground, and manage stock.
Sub-tenant and landlord management
- Act as the single point of contact for all four sub-tenants.
- Set and enforce Playground rules and regulations.
- Handle complaints from sub-tenants and customers.
- Propose and coordinate joint marketing with sub-tenants.
- Follow up on rent collection where needed.
- Act as the point of contact with the landlord and pass on notices to sub-tenants.
People and operations
- Lead the Assistant Playground Manager and part-time staff.
- Manage rosters, working hours and attendance.
- Handle day-to-day HR matters for the Playground team.
- Support visiting specialists, including our consultant developmental specialist and speech therapists, with scheduling, space and client coordination.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in retail, family entertainment, childcare centre or facility operations, including at least 1 year managing staff
- Track record of owning sales targets
- Experience dealing with tenants, landlords, vendors or business partners
- Strong problem-solving and complaint-handling skills
- Fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage
- Comfortable with basic inventory, rostering and sales reporting
- Able to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating basis
Nice to have
- Experience in an early childhood, education or family-focused business
- Event planning or community marketing experience
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
Experience:
- retail: 3 years (Preferred)
- Staff Managing: 1 year (Preferred)
