The 6-month full-time Internship at adidas provides you with a unique opportunity to apply what you’ve learned at university, use your knowledge in practice, and live your passion for sports in our Global Headquarter for Product Development & Sourcing business in Hong Kong.

About the Internship:
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Support the acceleration of digital transformation initiatives such as AI adoption, automation and data analytics across Product Development & Sourcing (PD&S). Contribute to the design, development, testing, and enablement of digital solutions (AI and non-AI) that improve knowledge accessibility, automate routine work, and enhance decision-making through data and analytics. This role provides exposure to emerging AI technologies, enterprise data platforms, and business process innovation within a global sourcing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support research, prototyping and implementation of AI solutions
- Support business process improvements via automation and data management
- Support implementation of data analytics solutions
- Support AI awareness, upskilling, and adoption initiatives across business teams
- Provide ad-hoc or administrative support to sourcing operations, e.g. meetings / events
- Be active in leading and supporting Staff Group events, office activities and initiatives.
Key Relationships:
- Functions in sourcing and product development, i.e. planning, materials, quality, costing, sustainable sourcing, product creation, etc.
- Liaison office teams in respective manufacturing regions
- PD&S AI Ambassadors
- Data and AI team
- Data product owners
- Enterprise architecture team
- Sourcing senior leadership team
Required main study courses:
- Bachelor/master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain Management, Computer Science (or any other major with demonstrated interest in IT, AI, data, and supply chain operations)
Preferred university/ discipline: Any
Required skills:
- Fluent in English (oral and in writing)
- Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and prompt engineering
- Comfortable in using AI tools in cost effective and ethical manners
- Curiosity and willingness to experiment with emerging technologies
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio and Power Platform would be highly preferred
- Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Databricks, or other data technologies would be a plus
- Knowledge of Python, Github, or other development tools would be a plus
