IT Infrastructure Project Management Officer (Junior)

Mandatory skills:

1.  3–5 years of relevant IT Project Management / Infrastructure Project Management experience. 

Working Location: Cyberjaya, Selangor

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on IT Infrastructure Project Manager to plan, coordinate and deliver IT infrastructure projects across Malaysia and overseas locations. The successful candidate will manage projects from initiation, planning and design through implementation, migration, cutover and project closure. The role requires a good understanding of IT infrastructure and the ability to work effectively with infrastructure engineers, architects, vendors, system integrators and senior management. The ideal candidate can understand technical architecture and infrastructure diagrams, ask the right technical questions, identify project risks and dependencies, and translate complex technical information into clear business and management-level communication. The candidate will also prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations, project dashboards, management reports and executive updates for senior management and the CTO.

Essential Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• •Approximately 3–5 years of relevant IT Project Management / Infrastructure Project Management experience.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure projects, preferably involving Data Centre, Network, Cloud, Security, Server or related infrastructure technologies.
• Good working understanding of common IT infrastructure components and how they interact. Confidential – Recruitment Use
• Ability to read and understand technical architecture, network topology and infrastructure diagrams. IT INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER
• Ability to translate technical information into clear and understandable communication for non-technical stakeholders and senior management.
• Strong project planning, coordination, prioritisation and organisational skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams concurrently.
• Strong experience in risk, issue, dependency, action and change management.
• Experience coordinating internal technical teams and external vendors / system integrators.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to confidently present to senior management / CTO / CIO level stakeholders.
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with MS Project, Microsoft Planner, Jira, Smartsheet or equivalent project management tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proactive, structured and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
