About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior FP&A Analyst with proven ownership of an IT and/or SG&A controlling scope. This position combines approximately 60% core financial controlling and business partnering with 40% reporting automation, continuous improvement and AI-enabled finance initiatives.

The successful candidate will be accountable for understanding, reporting and explaining the financial performance of assigned departments, while actively simplifying and modernizing the way the team works. This is a finance-first role: strong controlling fundamentals and stakeholder management are essential, alongside demonstrated reporting and BI capabilities.

You will report to the Assistant Manager SG&A – FICOM and collaborate closely with CEVA HQ Business Controllers in France and global functional leaders, including senior finance and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

IT & SG&A Financial Controlling and Business Partnering

• Own the recurring financial controlling activities for assigned IT and SG&A departments / cost centers, including monthly closing follow-up, actuals tracking, reporting, budget and forecast.
• Take end-to-end accountability for an assigned P&L or cost-base perimeter: understand cost drivers, ensure accuracy, identify deviations and provide clear performance explanations.
• Prepare and present monthly performance reviews directly to departmental stakeholders; independently explain Actual vs Budget, Forecast and prior-period variances, their root causes and proposed corrective actions.
• Partner with IT, HR, Legal, Communications and other corporate functions; challenge spending assumptions, headcount plans, allocations and project costs.
• Coordinate annual budgets and rolling forecasts, assess risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations and scenario analyses.
• Work with CEVA HQ controllers to ensure consistency, quality and timely delivery of financial reporting and closing outputs.

Automation, Reporting and Finance Transformation

• Build, enhance and maintain Power BI dashboards and recurring management reports; ensure reliable refreshes, data models, definitions and user adoption.
• Automate recurring reporting and controlling processes using Power Query, Excel, BI capabilities and, where relevant, Python or other workflow tools.
• Identify manual activities and control gaps, prioritize efficiency opportunities, and deliver measurable improvements in reporting speed, quality and accuracy.
• Contribute to practical AI initiatives for finance, including use-case identification, testing and responsible deployment of tools that support analysis, commentary, reporting or knowledge sharing.
• Develop standardized KPIs and reporting packs for IT spending, SG&A performance, headcount, project costs and productivity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and internal teams to document processes, strengthen data quality and embed continuous improvement in day-to-day operations.

Qualification

• At least 3 years of experience in FP&A, business controlling or management reporting, with meaningful hands-on exposure to IT and/or SG&A / corporate functions.
• Demonstrated direct responsibility for a P&L, cost-center portfolio or comparable financial perimeter, not only preparation of data for others.
• Proven track record of owning monthly reporting, budgets and forecasts, personally explaining variances and financial performance to department heads or senior stakeholders.
• Previous hands-on experience building, improving or maintaining Power BI reports / dashboards (or comparable BI solutions); ability to work with data models, Power Query and ideally DAX.
• Experience delivering reporting automation, process improvements or finance transformation initiatives, with concrete examples of outcomes.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of financial closing, cost analysis, budget / forecast cycles, and IT & SG&A cost drivers.
• Confident communicator and business partner, comfortable leading performance discussions and translating variances into recommendations.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; strong proficiency in Power BI or a similar BI platform.
• Curiosity and practical interest in AI-enabled finance, automation and continuous improvement; Python is an advantage, not a requirement.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and collaborate across an international matrix organization.

Education & Languages

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Excellent English communication skills; French is a plus but not required.
• Experience working with international teams and corporate stakeholders is an advantage.
