JOB SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Manager at IGL Coatings leads all aspects of manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, quality, and alignment with the company’s strategic goals. This role requires a hands-on, strategic leader capable of driving operational excellence while shaping the long-term manufacturing direction.

The ideal candidate combines strong leadership, deep technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, and a continuous improvement mindset. They must collaborate across departments to ensure smooth production, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic manufacturing plans aligned with business objectives, policies, and market trends.
• Lead and mentor the manufacturing team, supporting recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to achieve production targets while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, reduce costs, and implement lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Monitor KPIs and other metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production challenges and enhance workflow.
• Manage budgets and resource allocation to achieve operational and financial targets.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality systems.
• Experience in KPI monitoring, resource planning, and process optimization.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred / Added Advantage:

• Experience in chemical, coatings, or related industries.
• Certification or knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for production planning and tracking.
