About the Role

We are looking for a talented and highly adaptable Personal Videographer & Video Editor to work closely with our executive and creative team to capture and produce high-quality video content for personal branding and digital platforms.

This is a hands-on role. You will be responsible for the full video production process — from planning and filming to editing, sound, colour, subtitles, thumbnails, and final delivery.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for storytelling and understands that great personal-brand content is not just about having good visuals — it is about capturing the right moment, emotion, message, and story.

Key Responsibilities

• Film daily activities, business meetings, events, travel, interviews, lifestyle moments, and personal-brand content.
• Work closely with the executive and content team to plan and execute video shoots.
• Capture high-quality vertical and horizontal video content for different platforms.
• Develop creative shots, camera angles, transitions, B-roll, and visual storytelling elements.
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting, microphones, gimbals, and other production equipment.
• Ensure proper framing, exposure, focus, lighting, and audio quality.
• Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Edit longer-form videos, interviews, presentations, and business content when required.
• Add captions, graphics, sound effects, music, transitions, colour grading, and other post-production elements.
• Create multiple edits or versions of content for different platforms.
• Work with the content lead to turn concepts and scripts into compelling visual stories.
• Organise and maintain video footage, project files, assets, and content libraries.
• Ensure all videos meet brand guidelines and quality standards.
• Stay updated on current video trends, editing styles, social media formats, and audience preferences.
• Occasionally travel with the executive for business trips, events, shoots, or other content opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5+ years of professional experience in videography, video production, video editing, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating videography and video editing skills.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of cinematography, lighting, composition, framing, and audio.
• Strong understanding of short-form social media video.
• Ability to create engaging content quickly without compromising quality.
• Good sense of pacing, storytelling, music selection, transitions, and visual aesthetics.
• Comfortable filming people in professional, corporate, lifestyle, and informal environments.
• Ability to work independently from concept to final video.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing schedules.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
