Key Responsibilities:
- To maintain and operate boiler systems in an efficient and safe manner.
- To perform troubleshooting of boiler breakdowns.
- To manage DOSH inspection and service.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal standards.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of boiler operations.
- Supervise and provide guidance to junior boiler operators or technicians.
- Assist in planning maintenance schedules and safety drills.
- Report any operational issues to the maintenance manager.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a valid Boilerman Grade 1 or 2 certificate/permit.
- Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U or any Professional Certificate.
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in boiler operation.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role is preferred.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
- Able to work on shift/long hours basis.
- Highly motivated, a self-starter and eager to succeed.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Able to work independently with less supervision and work as a team.
- Applicants must be proactive, hardworking and able to work under deadlines.
- Physically fit and able to work in a plant environment.
