Our client, a well-established and leading retail organization, is seeking an experienced Leasing professional to lead leasing strategies, drive tenant acquisition, and maximize occupancy and rental performance. Approximately 20%–30% travelling required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute leasing strategies to support the company’s retail expansion plans and business objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and secure suitable retail locations for new store openings based on target markets, customer demographics, and business potential.
• Manage the end-to-end leasing process, including site sourcing, location evaluation, rental negotiations, lease renewals, and tenancy agreements.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to assess rental rates, retail trends, and potential locations for business expansion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, property agents, developers, and other relevant business partners.
• Review lease terms and rental costs to ensure commercial viability and alignment with the company’s budget and expansion strategy.
• Monitor lease expiries, rental commitments, and tenancy matters, ensuring timely renewals and effective lease management.
• Prepare leasing reports, site assessments, and rental analyses to support management’s decision-making on new store openings and existing store operations.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in retail leasing, shopping mall leasing, or commercial property management.
• Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and business development skills, with a good understanding of retail leasing and market trends.
• Proactive, commercially driven, and able to work independently to achieve leasing targets. Existing relationships with retail brands or F&B operators will be an advantage.
