About Us

Turnafix specialises in portable machining tools and on-site machining solutions for industrial customers. We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Technician to support machine assembly, maintenance and customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test and maintain portable machining equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs.
• Assist with machine demonstrations and provide technical support to customers.
• Support on-site machining work, equipment setup and operation.
• Inspect and prepare machines, tools and accessories before delivery or rental.
• Maintain service records and keep tools and the work area organised.
• Follow company safety procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, machinery repair or machining.
• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
• Able to use hand tools and basic measuring instruments.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems; experience with hydraulic or pneumatic systems is an advantage.
• Able to read technical drawings and follow operating instructions.
• Responsible, willing to learn and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to travel to customer sites and work overtime when required.
• Valid driving licence preferred.
