Freelance CCA Enrichment Instructor – Whizz Kidz

Summary
Are you passionate about working with children and making learning fun? Whizz Kidz is looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Freelance CCA Enrichment Instructors to conduct engaging, hands-on enrichment programmes at international schools across Singapore.

Our programmes cover a wide range of subjects, including STEM, Robotics, Coding, Science, Creative Arts, Sports, Performing Arts, and Life Skills.

We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who enjoy working with children and are open to learning and teaching different subjects. No expertise in every subject is required, as curriculum guidance, lesson materials, and training will be provided.

This role is ideal for students, graduates, educators, and individuals looking to gain teaching experience while inspiring young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons: Conduct interactive, age-appropriate CCA sessions using provided lesson plans and materials.
• Adapt to different programmes: Be open to learning and teaching a variety of enrichment subjects based on training and programme requirements.
• Encourage active participation: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes creativity, curiosity, and confidence.
• Manage classroom activities: Maintain a structured, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
• Ensure student safety: Supervise students and follow school safeguarding and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the team: Communicate with programme coordinators and fellow instructors to ensure smooth programme delivery.

Key Requirements

• Passionate about working with children and supporting their learning
• Willing to learn and teach different enrichment subjects
• Responsible, organised, adaptable, and confident leading groups of children
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Willing to travel to various school locations across Singapore
• Willing to undergo a background check (required for international school settings)
• Able to commit to weekly CCA sessions for a minimum of 6 months (excluding school holidays)

Additional Skills & Experience (Preferred but Not Required)

• Prior experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, or leading children's activities
• Background or interest in STEM, arts, sports, performing arts, or other enrichment subjects
• Experience working with children in school, camp, or enrichment settings
• Ability to teach multiple subjects or willingness to expand teaching skills

Interview & Selection Process

Candidates will undergo a 3-stage interview process:

• Initial Screening (Video Call)
• Face-to-Face Session & Trial Lesson Segment
• Tryout Class (Final Review) – Conduct a supervised class session

Training Provided

Lesson materials, curriculum guidance, and instructor training will be provided to help instructors confidently deliver assigned programmes.
