Job Summary

Join our team as a Material Planning Coordinator and play a key role in ensuring material availability to support production. You will analyse demand forecasts, monitor incoming shipments, manage inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely material replenishment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse demand forecasts and material requirements based on current and historical usage.
• Monitor and update daily reports on incoming and upcoming shipments, ensuring timely material supply.
• Prepare and coordinate material delivery schedules to support production requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control plans to maintain appropriate safety stock.
• Coordinate with Management, Production, Logistics, Stockroom and Suppliers to ensure smooth material planning and replenishment.
• Identify potential material shortages and follow up on supply issues to minimise production disruptions.

Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in material planning, inventory control or supply chain operations is an advantage.
• Good analytical, planning and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
